The range modalities and styles of therapeutic bodywork I utilize are: Swedish Massage, Swedish Gymnastics, Myofascial Releases, Reflexology, Deep Tissue Massage, Polarity Therapy, Polarity Therapy Exercises, Shiatsu, Trigger Points, Pregnancy Massage, Non-Specific Stretches, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TMC), Qi Gong, Chair Massage, Core Synchronism, Cupping, Aromatherapy.

Who Can Benefit

Therapeutic massage therapy is successful in working with problems related to excess tension build up, chronic and acute pain and musculoskeletal injuries. In addition, therapeutic massage, in combination with Polarity Therapy, Shiatsu, and Core Synchronism, is very effective for people who suffer a chronic condition and want to reestablish balance in their body. Therapeutic massage is often used as an adjunct to certain medical conditions on the recommendation of a physician (e.g., high blood pressure, anxiety, or stress). It is also beneficial for women during pregnancy. Anyone suffering from chronic back pain can benefit from therapeutic massage as well as Polarity Therapy, Shiatsu, and Core Synchronism.

Client/Practitioner Expectations

The first session begins with an interview and health history. Privacy and confidentiality are maintained at all times. Clients are encouraged to disrobe to their comfort level. During the session, clients are draped with sheets, towels or blankets, uncovering the body part to be worked on. Clients are encouraged to relax, unwind and stay present. If anything during the session feels unhealthy, physically or psychologically, please communicate this to me immediately.
